How many times have you come across information that you which you had saved? Now you can, just Furl it.

Furl is a web site that allows you to save information in an organized manner about visited web sites.

In other words it replaces Favorites or Bookmark. Not only its easy to use but you can also add a category, rating and even put comments about a site.

Its like having your own personal web. It allows you to search items by keywords or category. Its also multi-purpose---use it for vacation planning, sharing your recipes, questions about pets, buying a new house, health issues and many more.

Vlogging: Great teaching tool.....

As soon as I finish reading the article "Blogging + Video= Vlogging", the first thing that came to my mind was WHAT A GREAT TEACHING TOOL. This is a tool that definitely has a high place on online education. In my case I can use this tool to perform surgical and other routine procedures and have clients watch them later so they can relate and see what is being done to their pets. It will give us the opportunity to reach mass media and also will give them (pet owners) a visual understanding of whats happening behind closed surgical doors. The only downfall is time and equipment needed. Well, might start my own show online...Behind closed veterinary surgical doors with Dr. Nelson Diaz...................

The ways people learn.....

It always amazes me on how people are classified according to their learning styles. Having read the different classifications, I learned something new about myself. I am a combination of deep and surface learner, sometimes I look for structure and meaning other times I draw on my lower level cognitive skills and focus only on main words and phrases---unfortunately this only leads to remember and not really learn what it is trying to convey.

Technology-driven learning has been known for promoting the surface learning style, so we need to positively reinforce each other and make this a comfortable environment so that deep learning behavior is encourage.
